Minnie Brooke items that defy classification



Minnie E. Brooke not only published postcards, but also ran a Tea House just outside the Washington D.C, line in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She used her background in publishing to promote her tea house on the postcard seen below.



The vast majority of Minnie's postcards had no descriptive text on the back of the card. Here is one of the few exceptions (#22) along with a 'normal' back.



Minnie's had a "Post Card Parlor" on F Street in Washington D.C., below is a postcard sized add for her store. It uses the image from postcard # 76.



Minnie's publisher used the image from postcard # 6 to advertise his publishing company.
